WKU vs Appalachian State

If you haven’t seen the Bailey Zappe show, this is your chance.

The WKU offense won’t be nearly as fun next year with wunderkind offensive coordinator Zach Kittley taking over the same gig at Texas Tech, but the fireworks should be out for this early Saturday morning bowl game.

The Hilltoppers will throw a ton, because that’s what they do. Appalachian State will run wild, because that’s what it does.

Both these teams were good enough to play in their respective conference championships, and both of them are going to bring the fire as they kickoff a day of six bowl games and two NFL showdowns.

The more high lights I watch on this team the more I am impressed with them. They started the season 1-4 and ended the season 8-5 with the final loss being the conference championship. They are hot. Don't think they can't run the ball based upon their stats, I think they just want Zappe to shine and are a pass first offense, but they can run the ball. Their defense is capable of making stops too.

If we sleep on this team or think we win just because we show up it will be embarrassing. Zappe has thrown for over 5500 yards with 56 td's to 11 int's. Dude can read a defense and has players that can make plays.

I was afraid of this after watching video on WKU. Got to also give credit to his OC. Only way to beat them is to outscore them

WKUs high tempo air raid was the perfect team to beat this App team and a great paring by ESPN.
