We definitely left some points on the board last Saturday and all I recall from A&M was the missed FG and maybe one pass they missed over the middle that could have gone for a score. If we chose to play the same basic ball control this Saturday why on earth could we not keep Troy off the field as well? I'm not minimizing them by any means but I see predictions of 30+ points. Anything can happen but other than some guys possibly missing at linebacker where is the issue?

I believe your statement means you agree that 30+ seems most likely. To add to that point, we would have to regress in defense and offense, due to lack of focus, whatever, to not deliver a strong performance.

I know we played ball control with A&M for reasons that are not not as applicable with Troy's team makeup but I would love to see their defense if we dominated TOP as well. I just think if we execute that we would have a hard time holding the ball for 8 minutes without scoring much earlier for most part.

Kind of the way I see it. Unless Troy has a really good defense that can eliminate aspects of our offense it's hard to imagine us being limited. We have shown that we are not one dimensional and if they load the box we have wideouts and tight ends that are dangerous. Play straight up and we can hit the long ball. I'm pretty optimistic that we come out firing despite the distractions. Clark seems to able to get the team focused- at least I hope so.

Not sure why I have this mentality for this week because I love to see them air it out...but I would love to see us dominate the run early and throughout the game and be able to dominate in that fashion. I want like 300 yards rushing this week

I don't think App dominate TOP like they did a A&M again. Maybe an 8-9 minute drive here and there, but I feel the quick-strike capability of the App offense is there, rushing or passing.

Troy might try to run the ball more this game.

I don't care what I see as long as it is a well thought out game plan and we execute at a high level on both sides of the ball. Keep getting everyone involved.
