It seems rumors are swirling about a future H&H with the Wolfpack. Would be a job well done by DG if true.

I will have a ~3 YO and a ~5 YO. I think they will be able to make it through a full game by that point.

1st full family game. Huge. That is if my wife doesn't get the urge to be outnumbered
I don't want to be a dark cloud of pessimism, but as the parent of a 6.5 y/o and 4 y/o (also 15 mth old), I wouldn't count on them making it through an entire football game. I bring my oldest to hockey games and he does ok (fast moving, 2 intermissions), but even that is hit and miss. I'm testing him out for his first football game vs Citadel this year. I'd strongly recommend a pre NC State walkthrough /dress rehearsal vs some lesser opponent (high school game even) or in some other setting before wagering having to leave such a high stakes game in the 1st. I have season tix next to a family who had similar aged kids, and only once did they make it to the second quarter. The wife doesn't even attempt...I saw that dad bring 3 young kids by himself. That's some App State love and some awesome dadness. (Also gonna be super hot probably, b/c likely early Sept game...kids and heat, just a thought)
My wife and I are brining our almost 3 yr old and 1 yr old into the game this Saturday. I'm definitely nervous with how crazy it's going to be but can't miss it. We took them to 3 games last year and each game got better as far as how long we stayed. Thought's and prayer's are welcome.
I’d be concerned what words come out of your 1 yo’s mouth going home. :D

shoulda settled 1 in Boone 1 in Raleigh 1 in Charlotte split tickets each schools keeps the revenue from the tickets they sell. Thats assuming CLT center city partners or whoever runs the Charlotte events at BoA would be down, but id assume they would.
Only on the MMB do we have the shoulda conversation about a home and home with State.😂
TBF i meant from NC State perspective if they were hesitant to do a straight h/h. I'm perfectly happy with a H/H

The day the kiddies stop watching the flag team and realize there’s agame going on down there, now THAT is a day worth celebratin!! Just be alert. I wish i could say i noticed that when my kids were here. But hey i was too focused on the game. BUT my better half noticed!! And that has made all the difference.

This is what winning does. Before our recent success, we were seen as a pointless game. Now, we're seen as a solid OOC opponent than can help the SOS.

Agreed. And that's essentially what happened when he flirted with (I believe) Cincinnati a couple years ago. He came back, asked for more money to stay (he truly loves it in God's Country), and they approved it almost immediately.

Duke is the last DI team in the state we have not played at this point I think and played in Boone also.

What did S Brown call our former AD? I am thinking "orange sweater boy" but GaSt has blue colors so maybe it was "blue sweater boy/"

of course they waited till they got good again in football before they scheduled us. JK, glad they are willing to do a home and home, pretty cool of them. With Carolina and State coming, the Gamecocks should be ashamed of chickening out. Can't remember if Wake was coming to us in the covid year, but either way they used covid to duck us.

don't pee on my dreams with reality. Thats my wifes job.
With a 3 y/o, dreams are low on my list of concerns as far as things getting peed on at the game.

Hats off to Doug Gillin and his staff for finally landing this home & home series.
I'm guessing it has something to do with BYU and Doug pounced like he has done on the past

This was in flight well before the cancellation of BYU. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if this is the reason for cancellations.

Took my 3 year old son to the Marshall game last season. Obviously a weekday night game. Picked him up early from school and started the trek from Durham. He took a short nap and had an awesome time until he finally fell out late in the 3rd quarter. I think you'll be ok but just submit to the fact there may be plays missed and attention away from the game.

It has been in the works for a while ,frankly I expected it to be released during Sun Belt media days in NO.Still a bit surprised that we didn't put it out before it was leaked. In any event it's big for our program.

Indeed it is. Winning opens doors for games like this. I wonder if we will be able to get VT, UVA, GT, and WVU to show up in Boone as well?

I was thinking WVU in my head but typed ECU. Thank you. We have them and Gardner-Webb OOC.

I’ll take this moment to state something important: Doug Gillin is the best AD we’ve ever had and we should pay him whatever he wants whenever he wants it.
Seriously, this is like the easiest series in the world to schedule. They get two games they should win and basically a guaranteed home sellout and a road game in a very nice place. Good for Gillin. Good for App, but this is the kind of regional series that makes so much sense it should be normal for us.

Agreed. I wish we could somehow get Wake Forest, NC State, ECU, Duke, and UNC on our schedule enough that we could just stop playing FCS all together. We need the money games and these are games the media will notice.
