Favorite Zac Thomas plays
Much has been talked about regarding our QB situation. I just want to take a moment and talk about how much we have been blessed in the last few years with Zac Thomas as our QB and remember some great moments in his career.
My all time favorite is in the 2018 Penn State game, down 31-17 with 7 min to go in the 4th qtr, Thomas, with game on the line, heavy traffic threaded the needle with a perfect throw to Malik Williams down the left sideline for a TD. To me that was one of his best throws.

His long run against UNC was my favorite. It seemed to send Deems May into a very dark place.
Zac’s run and pop-up slide for a first down late in the game was the cherry on top.

Two plays..1) 4th and 1 pass play to Collin Reed against South Carolina...Reed was open..but can over think the throw given situation. It was money..may have been difference in game in my opinion...2) Another pass to Collin Reed..versus CCU at home a few years ago..great throw and catch for TD...still amazed with play and catch...that first half may have been ZT's best at App St.
One thing I noticed in looking at various highlights from pre 2021 season..one can say we run the same offense over past several years... however difference is how you run it it... definitely more definitive read option looks where ZT would keep and run versus 2021 it seemed more of just turn around and hand off to a RB...just my opinion..

Re: Favorite Zac Thomas plays
Zac's fake handoff and rollout right on the keeper against North Carolina in the fourth quarter. Must have gone for 30 to 35 yards and pretty much sealed the deal for us. I was sitting in the seats behind the end zone (Blue Zone?) courtesy of one of my best friends. I had the perfect view to watch it all unfold. Several of his buddies who I casually know were sitting right behind me. I was expecting that we would run that play because it worked 9 out 10 times and we had been milking the clock like crazy with conservative off tackle runs. Their defense sold out and it was perfectly executed. The guys behind me were like "ball game". They were highly impressed with the call and the execution by Zac. It was all perfect.

The 2019 game against the Cajuns in LA. The Cajuns had made a big deal out of saying Zac wouldn’t beat them. So he just made big play after big play. For me Zac was one of the ultimate “gamers”.

I agree with all of the posts so far. The long TD run against Arky State this past year was pretty cool as well and basically put that game away. It looked like a simple QB draw for a first down and then all of a sudden Zac cut it outside and kicked in the burners to beat all the defenders to the endzone.

Re: Favorite Zac Thomas plays
Even the Penn State homer analyst jaws dropped on several of Zac's throws that night. Dude was speechless.
