Re: UNCC
Unfair comparison to the last regime. We used the same plays for 6 or 7 years. It’s a new book, new verbiage, and a new voice. It all takes time to gel.

The defense has been bad.AppSt12 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 07, 2019 4:22 pmPlaycalling has been unimaginative...was under satterfield too but we were more prepared to just run every play...zac Thomas hasn't been himself yet this season.
But...defense has been better than most fans are acting. And when you have a rushing touchdown, 2 passing touchdowns and a special teams touchdown. Cant be too upset. I'm actually pleased so far.

Re: UNCC
Charlotte TD start of 3rd. We should pull this one out, however early on, appears this team has taken a step backward.

Re: UNCC
This defense is bad...like really bad. Blown coverages, easy pitch and catches by Charlotte, 10 yard slant routes with huge cushions. Only the second game but I'm mildly alarmed by the scheme.

Re: UNCC
I wouldn’t say that the defense has been good, but they haven’t been horrible, either. They’ve given up some big plays at bad times, but are mostly in the right spots. I don’t like giving up 20 to this bunch of turds, but there have at least been some bright spots.
The offense is starting to spread the ball around now, getting the ball to players other than Hennigan. It’s tough to watch right now, because we all know what we have in the stable, but Drink is new to all this. I think he’ll come around and we’ll be light years ahead of where we are now by week 5 or 6
Give 'em hell!

Re: UNCC
I mean...I hate overreactions. But this is unbelievable the more I watch. I mean...he has a pretty bad resume...though its long...outside of the auburn title...which we all know was not their strongest defensive year, he just hasn't proven he can lead the type of defense we are used to and need

Offense looking like it’s catching its stride now. Like what I’m seeing from Zac and the playcalling
