We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Re: Cameron Peoples
This realllly sucks. I feel so bad for him. From the teams perspective, we dominated with the same RB core we have now. I think we will be fine.
On another note, can cam red shirt the rest of the season and keep 4 years more eligibility?

Re: Cameron Peoples
I know some players have successfully petitioned the NCAA for a 6th year of eligibility, but that’s generally based on two medical redshirts, not one (as would be the case here). I asked Ethan on Twitter for any insight, hopefully he can clear it up (at least from the University perspective).

Give Camerun a positive tweet. He will read it. He needs to know we are thinking of him. He is one of us.

Re: Cameron Peoples
This really doesn't matter in his circumstance. No way he stays for the extra 2 years if he is still running like we know he can. He will graduate before his eligibility is up and more than likely sign an agent. No need for a RB to add more years of wear and tear before going for their pay day.
I'm not on the Twitter or the Gram, so please send prayers, best wishes, and "bring the energy on the sideline" to him. CameRUN is a phenomenol kid from my limited interactions with him, I'll be sure to encourage him and make sure he knows he is a Mountaineer anytime I see him this season.

Re: Cameron Peoples
Doesn't seem like App has struggled much with ligament issues, as a team, in recent years. Two knee injuries (one is lower leg) thus far since summer.

Re: Cameron Peoples
Yes, he can apply for a medical redshirt exemption on top of his freshman redshirt from last year, thus, giving him 4 years of eligibility, emphasis on apply. Ryan Finley took advantage of this while he was at Boise State.
With that being said, if he is as capable of a RB as I believe he is it will be a non-factor as he will either leave to test professional waters or transfer to a P5 school to get more exposure upon graduation, i.e. Ryan Finely's path.

Coach Drinkwitz had some good quotes in the article. Perhaps this will give another backup a chance to contribute in a big way.Rick83 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 05, 2019 9:22 amToday's article about CP and they discuss the multitude of injuries we've had at running back over recent years:

Yep, I really hate it for Cam, but fortunately for the team, we have many weapons in our arsenal. Some that may not have even really made themselves known yet...here's their chance.NewApp wrote: ↑Thu Sep 05, 2019 9:39 amCoach Drinkwitz had some good quotes in the article. Re: Cameron Peoples
Not accurate. To get a medical RS, one needs to miss two seasons due to injury.yosefshat wrote: ↑Thu Sep 05, 2019 9:21 amYes, he can apply for a medical redshirt exemption on top of his freshman redshirt from last year, thus, giving him 4 years of eligibility, emphasis on apply. Re: Cameron Peoples
Good call. I just did more research and in super rare cases they have been approved to stack but more than likely wouldn't happen. I didn't realize Finley had a shoulder his first year at Boise.AppSt94 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 05, 2019 3:10 pmNot accurate.
