Let me know folks? Driving from Tyler to San Marcos Friday after lunch. Staying 1 mile from Bobcat Stadium thru Sunday. Would love to meet up with some familiar faces after being in East Texas for 7 months.

When I went last year the Mill Street lot was recommended by a Bobcat fan. It is a huge paved lot, which was mostly empty, and a short walk to the stadium. Several other App fans parked and tailgated there. I checked the Texas State Football Parking page to refresh my memory. The lot is free but no grills and/or tents are allowed. But we tailgated there out of the trunk of my rental car with no problem. Its on a back street so you may have to map quest it to find it and its included on the Parking Lot Map for Texas State Football along with some other pay lots. I was told there is a tailgate lot on the opposite side of the stadium where the Texas State students tailgate but it was not recommended for visitors. Have fun.

I saw the thread about the Alumni Tailgate at Coastal. Thought I would mention there will also be an official alumni event in Sab Marcos.
