We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

Not doubting the defense, but they can not stay on the field the whole game and win. Offense has to be effective and clicking.
You are dead on with that one. That’s what I meant by “being put in a tough spot”. But we are also not going against the type of “grind” offense of GS. I think the offense struggled to get their bearings after the QB change, that just made everything tilt so far in the wrong direction....
Coastal Carolina is very much a "grind" offense. The Chanticleers are fourth in the country in time of possession. (Georgia Southern, by comparison, is 21st).
You are right. I’m focusing more on the physicality of the triple option versus Coastal, who runs a lot as well, but also does it more from a spread from what I have seen. Time of possession is there, but they throw a lot more than GS. The constant gut punch of GS is a different type of grind. If Coastal has success on our defense, it will have to be the big hitter type plays that have helped them in other games this year. After last week, I think our defense will be more than prepared for this one.

The best medicine will be a good long opening drive for a confidence builder, consistent running amd a few passed passes sprinkled in. Coastal is weak against the run. Defense gets a few good stops early and everything will be right with the world again.

Turnovers are the key to this game, whoever starts at QB can't throw into double coverage , running backs and punt returners holding on the ball. I think this game will be close,, but we will win!

If we play tomorrow with a backup QB, I predict this game looks more like previous years and we see LOTS of running plays, mixed with a conservative dose of screens and short throws. Actually, even if Zac plays I think that's what we'll see. CCU struggles to defend the run and everybody on their schedule other than Campbell has averaged over 7 yards per carry. I don't think we throw much because I don't think we'll have to. Evans and Williams will both have big days. The D doesn't get stranded on the field and wear down. I think we're fine.

The anomaly of last weeks turnover fest is behind us. We are a better team than last week showed.
