Yeah I told my buddy, while the fireworks were still going off, that people had complained about the lack of fireworks so DG was giving the fans what they asked for and then some.ASUGrad2014 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 23, 2017 9:19 pmWell... Everyone that was complaining about the lack of entrance fireworks should have been happy today! Seemed like they went on for a long time as the team came on the field! Loved it!

Re: Entrance fireworks
It's like they forgot to use them for the first game so they had extra on hand and decided to use them all for Wake. Not complaining...it's just kinda of funny.moonshine wrote: ↑Sun Sep 24, 2017 4:02 pmYeah I told my buddy, while the fireworks were still going off, that people had complained about the lack of fireworks so DG was giving the fans what they asked for and then some.ASUGrad2014 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 23, 2017 9:19 pmWell... Re: Entrance fireworks
Kudos to those responsible for the positive changes! Entrance fireworks were great, entrance of flag was superb, use of canned music was reduced, band played more, even got APP - STATE going several times and the cheerleaders jumped in to facilitate the effort. And Kudos to the folks managing the video board for trying to help with the APP-STATE chant, though that was a failed effort. The words and arrows were displayed / switched so slowly that the stadium would have sounded as if the crowd forgot the words based on the super long pauses. It was a great atmosphere that had everybody engaged and in their spots until the end. I know that the longevity of the fans was due to the fact that the game was a nail biter, but the "extras" were spot on! Thanks for listening!

I agree that the changes made were great. But they screwed up the video App - State chant by getting it backwards. Home side is App and visitors is State.

YES, that messed me up...by the time I learned our new word (State) the thing was over.

Re: Entrance fireworks
IMO, They'd be better off just flashing "APP" then flashing "State" and getting rid of the arrow graphic. We already know which side is App and which is State.

New policy was included in the ticket package and posted on line several placesmom_n_buggie wrote: ↑Sat Sep 09, 2017 2:56 pmI totally missed their entrance because of my pocketbook! Had to hike all the way back to the car and leave itNothing in my season ticket package about the new policy either. All these years and nothing in my purse has ever "endangered the players".
Off my soapbox now...
