Folks in the Miami Ohio "circles" saying it'll be them versus Ark State in the Camelia.

Re: The Definitive App State “Where Are We Going Bowling” Guide
Why is playing a 9-3 MAC worse than anyone fr CUSA. Their champion have 3 loses while the MAC has a top 20 champ. I'd also take Toledo over 6-6 UCF as the lower half of the AAC isn't any better than any other G5.AppSt94 wrote:As a conference, holistically it would be a letdown to play anyone from the MAC if a game against ConfUSA or the AAC is available.proasu89 wrote:Toledo is 9-3. To say they would be a disapointment is just..... I certainly wouldn't mind a shot at beating them which is something stAte hasn't been able to do.AppSt94 wrote:Sorry, but any MAC opponent other than WMU would me a letdown.
Toledo would be a good opponent but I would still prefer a game against someone from the other two conferences.

Toledo is the only other MAC team I'm cool with. I also hate how most of the mac teams don't have fanbases due to their "midweek maction" marketing ploy.JTApps1 wrote:Why is playing a 9-3 MAC worse than anyone fr CUSA. I am curious how/why MOntgomery would take us over ArkSt, which wasn't there last year and is slightly closer.

If Toledo is slated for Montgomery, then StAte not likely going there.

I would be interested in what ticket presales looked like for the bowls. I don't see us going back to Montgomery this year. It wouldn't surprise me if tickets sales would be down for a return trip.

I'll go back to Montgomery, had a good time last year. But I did sign up for four tickets to NO and Cure, none for others to skew the numbers.

Nice call. Sounds like your source is pretty solid. Can you ask about future scheduling?kiddbrewer wrote:Heard it from a good source and just saying, it's pure common sense, but if Lafayette wins, they go to New Orleans and we go to Montgomery playing Toledo. If Lafayette loses, we are going to New Orleans.

Future scheduling was brought up to this person before. But I'm not sharing the response from this person.bh2oson wrote:Nice call. Sounds like your source is pretty solid. I thought you said South Alabama couldn't go ahead of another Sun BELT team. Oops looks like you were wrong.mtnjax wrote:Did you even read his article? USA has "provisional" status and WON'T get selected until ALL bowl slots are filled Thus, they will NOT get selected before App, because they CAN'T be.Goapps15 wrote:
If South Alabama and ULL win, App could be passed over for the Sun Belt bowls. At that point, ull is likely to New Orleans, Troy to Mobile and Idaho to Arizona. Arkansas State and South Alabama could end up in Montgomery and Orlando respectively, thus the chance another bowl with an opening will be the spot for Appalachian.

Re: The Definitive App State “Where Are We Going Bowling” Guide
ULL was the first team picked (New Orleans}; Troy second pick (Mobile); App State 3rd pick; stAte fourth pick and fans burning up over this...LMAO!!! Idaho was fifth pick and USA was last option available to others bowls.
