Absolutely. I was discouraged to see the amount of our fans talking smack on the Miami message board. I don't recall us acting that way back in the days when we were holding our own in LSU, or regularly contending with Wake. At some point, we actually have to beat one of these teams. We can't just keep getting blown out mixed in with an occasional moral victory. And if that's our reality (I think it is) than we shouldn't act like cocky fools about it.

We used to be a lower tier team. We are not part of a major P5 conference....
It's nice to see Miami bandwagon fans get excited again...its been sooooooo looooong.......
Our secondary was exposed last week to ODU and exploited today.
Coaches are Still notr prepared to face an up tempo team
Coaches don't seem prepared to use an up tempo offense.
We are going to have a dogfight w GaSt, GaSo, Troy.....

I agree with all of this. It was very concerning to see our coaching staff having such a difficulty even subbing players on defense. It wasn't once or twice, it was virtually every drive.

BIG props to our stout OL. Once again, we were able to move the ball on the ground and Lamb had time to attempt passes from the pocket. They were our only real bright spot.

I'd also add that our soft cover from the DB's was brutally exposed by Richt, who called the same WR bubble screen over and over as they waltzed down the field. It was a wonderfully well played maneuver by Richt, as once he baited us in, Kaaya scorched us deep multiple times throughout the game. I feel confident we will see that from every team we play moving forward until our secondary can figure itself out.
Did we even touch Kaaya? I feel like he had all day back there.
Once again, clock management seemed to be an issue for our coaching staff. I don't know if it is that our passing game was so poor against Miami, but I cannot understand why we would run the ball inside of a minute with only 1 timeout. We clearly do not have the kicking game to net points anywhere outside of the red zone.

Hey app defense coaches - call a friggen play in ya goons - no reason our guys should be waiting 15 seconds for you to call it in - if hand signals are that slow figure something else out.... My god.... That's why they just kept dumping the same screen left and right and left and right and left..... I blame YOU not the players.

3rd Downs have to get better as the season progresses.

We've got to have one of the lowest conversion rates in the country.

Yes ! The only word is ridiculous. I just don't get it it looked really obvious and high school like today . A few times Miami had already snapped the ball and ran a few yard and we were still standing looking at whoever it looked really bad

We don't suck, but we have a lot of work to do. We got beat by a better team. Post game questions:. How is Cox? /. Is that the worst officiating crew in the ACC? /. What receiver will step up to be a playmaker? /Why don't we get the QB under center on short yardage downs?

My perspective is we were out coached, out played, out scored. Refs.? Man oh man. A LOT of work to do. I at least expected to have plays called and passes close to open receivers.

Fellas, you guys don't suck. Miami, love us or hate us, has been where you guys are at...a new program trying to get recognized and shock the world. Tennessee did you guys nasty by giving you that damn little thing we call Hope. I can see why you guys thought you had a chance, and honestly, you guys did have a chance, although a small one. Nothing to hang your heads on. Go out there and win the Sun Belt! Make you guys look better, and us as well when it comes to the polls. Hope Cox is ok, kid is a stud.

We all had fun with predictions, smack talk and anticipation of the biggest game ever played at KBS. Like many on this board I picked us to win knowing that the chances were not great. I won't make a prediction if I have to pick us to lose. That being said the effort on defense appeared really lacking. Unbelievable the amount of huge plays given up. We just ain't there yet. Bottom line is you gotta have the horses. What really upsets me is to read the scores of games including our contemporaries. NDSU, S Alabama, Ga State (way closer) and more. We say that we often get a G5 on the upswing. Is that really it? Curb stomped today plain and simple

Those 63 schollys have hurt North Dakota State the past 6 years. They have more P5 wins in the last two years, than App has ever. Time to take your crow and realize, you ain't as hot shit as you think you are.

And for everyone wanting to rip the coaches, you just played at top 25 ACC team at home. We could have curb stomped NC Central 60-0 today and gained nothing. I on the other hand, had a heck of a much better time today with that atmosphere.

I knew this would happen with some fans jumping off the deep end after this game...

Here are my thoughts:
1. We missed 10000000 tackles today.. I want to know where the tackling went after Tennessee cause we tackled great that game.. But luckily that issue can be fixed cause I've seen us tackle better.
2. Have to get better on the flags.. We got murdered at key times with untimely flags thrown our way.. Cox TD called back was a huge blow and it really hurt the momentum we was going to build there
3. Chill out on Satt he knows what he is doing we are a run first team and we are really good at it.. We will have HUGE success on sunbelt teams when we get there.. I'm not worried about the offense.. We played a top 25 team and they proved why they are top 25 so lets just wait and see how we do next week before we go all crazy..
4. Shout out to all the fans at KBS today.. Had a blast even tho we lost just a wonderful atmosphere which isn't new at KBS but still great being apart of history

All I know is that we will be okay.. We are talented and we had chances in this game to keep it close we just had to many mistakes and they capitalized on them.. It happens we will learn from it and get better..

No we don't play fursome or wcu any more and should not even mention them anymore. We were bitch slapped and embarrassed. This was a chance to stand on a big stage and we could not handle the moment this was a huge opportunity and we blew it. For fundraising and legitimatesy and we choked. Cannot get this back. Stop talking trash shut up deal with it. We cannot get this opportunity back this will be with us forever the moment was too big and we let it get by. No shot at furthering our program

Go watch the replay on watchespn.com - very obvious and bad hold, and one McElroy pointed out was pointless because the corner was playing man and not watching the ball. The route should have been run to take the corner away from the run, and pin him in.
