Re: New Format?
The chat wasn't working in the old format and this has been an update that has been put off for a while as most people don't like change and having to learn something new. The old format was based off an older software version that is no longer supported. The updates to this 'format' will continue over the next day or two as I add back in most everything from the prior format, but some things won't be ready immediately. This was done mainly to update the security of the forum as well as get a chat back up and running. There shouldn't be any forum downtime during these updates. Thanks for your patience over the next few days as this happens.

Re: New Format?
I thought I just added a post but it does not seem to be here. Trying again.
Let us know when you are done so if something is missing we liked we can mention it, but until you are done I can hold off on suggestions. If this brings chat back then great.

This is my very generic signature added to each post.

Re: New Format?
I think that hasn't changed. You still click the 'New Topic' button in the forum that you want to start the new thread in.Yosef10 wrote:How do you start a new thread?

I like it. It's fast and I'm not getting booted out like before.

Re: New Format?
Mine doesn't always jump to the newest post of a thread when I click on one from the main menu. Are we going to have to use all these side menus and drop down menus to find what use to take one click on a thread topic? I realize that is only a few clicks difference but it seems to be complicating something that was very simple.

Re: New Format?
Still working on that for the entire topic title but it does work. If you click the orange page next to the topic title in the forum, it will take you to the newest post.appdaze wrote:Mine doesn't always jump to the newest post of a thread when I click on one from the main menu. Re: New Format?
Yes. But it's good on my iPhone though. Odd.
And great on my laptop.

Re: New Format?
I haven't tested the ipad or iphone yet as I've been working on the laptop/desktop version. Will continue to work on those as time allows. For anyone using any mobile devices though, I HIGHLY encourage you to get the app "Tapatalk". It is a completely free app (or at least it was when I downloaded it) and it does a great job.

Re: New Format?
I'm having problems with the display on iPad, everything is one character wide column in the posts.
