DJackson among 51 receiving diplomas--must read

I know it's on GoAppState.com...BUT this is a must read. While you're at it, check out the list of student-athletes and their majors. You won't find any African and AfroAmerican Studies or Underwater Basket-weaving majors like our flagship sister down-state.

I wonder if Marcus Wright's degree will, in any, way help our basketball APR issue? Calling T-Dog? Where are you?

Great article! Congratulations Dexter! An old App alum is proud of you and will never forget the excitement you provided in scoring that first touchdown against Michigan. Best wishes for your future endeavors.

Also good to see Storm Moore ' s name among the graduates after the health scare he had that knocked him out of football.before he ever really got started.

The APR literature is gray when it comes to former players graduating. I'm rather sure it can affect the score going back as it happens with other sports all the time. A scholarship athlete in basketball carries a lot of APR weight compared to an individual football player.

930 is equivalent to half the team graduating. It might not help much this year due to the scores being a year behind, but it could help next year as Canty will do the score no favors.
