This map tells me that UNC Chapel Hill's mission is not to actually be the Univerity of North Carolina.

My county is one of those for App. However, having known numerous students whom were not accepted out of high school, I assume the term "destination" includes those taking the community college route.
For any student for whatever reason(s) that didn't get into App or another state university, the Community College system is a beautiful thing. The language is as clear cut as anything the state of North Carolina has ever put together. Don't get bogged with the Associate Degree programs, though. Take a look at the "44 hour block".

When they say "Top 5" schools, how are they determining that?
Either way, I'm ashamed to say my county is an NCSU one.... How embarrassing.
Nevermind, just read the blog. Didn't know we had grown into one of the five largest in the state!
