NIL or Yosef Club?

I would like to increase my giving and I am not sure where to allocate the funds. Initially, I was going to give the money to the Yosef Club but then I questioned myself and wondered if I should donate to the NIL. What helps the Athletic Department more or does it even matter?

I don’t think that it matters in the long run. Donating to the individual sports funds will get you more priority points. The suggestion that I give is that if you are looking to boost your ranking within the club, then give Yosef Club the amount that allows you to keep your seats and parking for football. Then donate any extra funds to the the individual team funds.

So I receive priority points for individual sport donation?

Help me understand as sometimes I simply don’t get it. If someone donates to a collective or some form of NIL fund (not sure what it’s called) how is the decision made and who decides how much money a certain player gets? Do those people “running” the collective or NIL really have the knowledge to make rational decisions? In my opinion reasonably intelligent professional team management makes awful decisions regarding contracts all the time. I know it’s a crapshoot but for a mid level college football team I can’t help but think the misses are for greater than the smart decisions. The only schools that don’t care are the big boys with seemingly endless amounts of stupid money to throw around.

Just my $0.02 worth but any monies that I give will go to the YC since they 1) benefit all sports and 2) the YC contributes to the AFAA. I don't want my money going to players who may/may not be around after 6 months or to "rent" players for a season.

Yes. This is new. If you give to the Football, Softball, baseball funds et al, you receive 3x the priority points.

Example, or at least this is my understanding, $100 to YC earns you 3 points. $100 to the individual sport funds earns you 9 points.

Can’t speak to the collectives outside of App but there is currently only one collective now. 3333 is run by some big donors and my understanding is that one of Mark Ricks’ guys handles the day-to-day. I don’t know how they make their decisions.

She can fund her own NIL collective.
