I renewed my National Boards a couple years ago after first completing it in 2014, although I've been out of the classroom for 5 years now. NC university alums are at the top of the national list due to the non competitive salaries for educators in NC. Natl Board cert provides a 12% bump in pay in NC...more than many states offer.
