We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

RIP Chancellor Borkowski

He was chancellor when I was in grad school.
Only had a couple of brief conversations with him at a couple of business school related events he attended. He was extremely cordial in our discussions.

As I told my old college roommate, Bork would appreciate me giving this a thumbs up (if you were in school during his tenure, you understand)

I was also in school during his tenure. Didn't know him well, but from my few interactions, he was always kind and had time to talk with students.

He was there for my 5.5 years of undergrad, don't think I ever talked to him.

You probably just missed him in the library!

He was thoughtful, kind and gracious in my dealings with him. We sometimes saw things differently but we always parted on good terms.

Borkowski is largely responsible for securing funding that led to many of the new buildings on the App campus. He built close relationships with Marc Basnight (long time President pro tem of the NC Senate) and other legislators that played a key role in making this happen.
