East Carolina will take the interim tag off of Blake Harrell and make him the full-time head coach, according to multiple reports on Monday. ESPN first reported the news.

Not sure this is a good move. I know that I wouldn't be happy if I were a fan of theirs. They play in the AAC, at least make a minimum effort to see who else is out there an interested. The guy has won 4 games, but it was against 4 really bad teams so I don't know that it really says anything. Sure hope we don't do this type of thing (again) in our next coaching search (whenever that may be).

I agree. I sure hope App will do a national search for our next coach. Never take the “safe” choice. Our program deserves the best coach out there
