So who should we hire for our general manager?

We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. If anyone here is interested in helping to keep the board running, please let me know via DM.

I thought he was player development? I'll have to look up his profile.

Yeah GMs are not new. It has been going on a while. Football staff sizes have really ballooned up over the last 15 years.

Same thing. The title may not indicate it, but that is what he is.
Nolan Jones also handles some of that as well.

Guerry is actually listed as DPP/GM so he is listed as the GM. He has two titles but not sure if he has all the duties of a normal DPP or if Jones and he have split some of those like you mentioned. I would think they do.
Schools have many different ways to set this up. I know Boise State has a GM and another person who is DPP. Also, we have 11 people listed as on field coaches if you don't include the S&C coach and Boise State has 17. Schools have their "front office" set up differently just like you would find in the NFL.

Interesting. Goes to show how much I've been paying attention to all the titles. Is it always that directly tied to football?
