New college and departmental logos

I started at App in the Fall of 1980 and the free t-shirt they gave out at freshman orientation had that logo....and it was burgandy. Never did understand that. I guess academics was trying to separate from athletics.

I finally threw that t-shirt in the trash a couple of years ago.

Give me the bird over Taco Bell any day.

Nobody, and I do mean nobody, cares about the bell. University Admin have been trying to force traditions around the bell for a few years now and it just isn't sticking. Nobody is out here rubbing the bell for good luck or taking pictures with this historic monument like thousands before them have. It's just... a bell. Bring back the mountains, bring back the bird, bring back the artistry.

The bell and the gazebo thing looks kind of hokey. In person or on a logo. Just my opinion.

A have very fond memories of the bell that start a few decades AFTER I was a student. I like the challenge of how it moves around campus as any good tradition should, because traditions should never be the same it seems.
