If you have ESPN+ have our sports playing even if you aren't watching. Leave your laptop up at home even if you are away. Get those viewership numbers as high as possible. We need it. Every eyeball that we can get.
Fields hockey will be on Twitch, youtube, and Facebook. Get your grandkids to show you what those are.

In a movie packed full of funny moments I think this is maybe the best line. Delivery and absurdity of it is <chef's kiss> Trying to save the plane but turning on the lights should not happen. LOL. Classic.

Agreed. I try to slide it in conversations from time to time, but it’s just not the same without the suspenseful music.

You can't miss that yellow call out on the page. Though to be honest now that someone posted something from Airplane! my need for this is lessened. Any Airplane! trumps all other desires, except stopping in the red zone. That need never goes away.

Today is the opening of Fall Camp. Shawn’s opening press conference is at 12:30. I would assume that it will be streamed.

Ok, I thought the MAC is an ESPN conference just like the SBC, so why can't we and the rest of the MAC get the field hockey games on ESPN+. JMU and ODU get their field hockey games on ESPN+, so does Liberty and the entire ACC, A-10, and Big East. And I assume the SBC would as well, if the discussed SBC field hockey sponsorship had panned out.
I ask as someone with three daughters who watch multiple field hockey games on ESPN+ each week.

Yes, I suspect that is the reason. And while I would not recommend or expect App spending much time or resource upgrading the broadcast feed to ESPN+ standards for such a low profile sport, I do wonder how much upgrading would be necessary - certainly improved audio. It is completely understandable that we dont spend that money but its also too bad as I think the App program is trending towards mid-tier (non ACC/B1G) power status and better streaming could solidify that.

At some point one might make a case for Title IX as well. That might be a stretch but most lawsuits are that to start with and then it becomes precedent and policy. Hopefully this is a first step in getting onto ESPN+. Back in the KBS days of streaming on goappstate.com it was fun to tune into all the sports with FB, MSOC, WSOC, FH showing some games and maybe track did as well. I can't remember about track. Maybe T&F was skipped over.
