For the last few years App State and UNCG and now UNCW have competed to see which campus has the most biodiversity.
You can help App win again
https://www.inaturalist.org/projects/ap ... pring-2023
Download the iNaturalist smartphone app and join the AppState BioBlitz Spring 2023 project.
Snap a picture of a plant or animal on the App State campus. If may require an App State email but I don't think so. From what I know it just needs to have a picture of a plant or animal (the app can help ID what you take a picture of) on the campus. I can't get to Boone but I need someone to help offset the pictures I took on the UNCG campus during my science class while we did a walking tour of the UNCG campus on the day the competition started. I have some loyalty for UNCG but not so much that I am secretly hoping App wins again. There I said it. This runs through 23 April-Sunday.
(I do hope my students win the UNCG competition that includes an e-bike and camping equipment.)
