Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. UNC System Chancellor Salaries
Greensboro paper has an article about Chancellor salaries in the UNC system. Everts was about 8 or so I think. A bit lower than chancellors at smaller student populations and maybe even with shorter tenures.

AppState has never had a better promoter and political strategist like Everts. Other leaders had good qualities but it really isn't even close.....
