My oldest daughter and App alumna got married to an App alumnus yesterday. 3 of 4 parents are App alumns and the officiant can also claim App State as their alma mater.



(I think the app jerseys were my daughter's idea. She is the big football fan compared to him. My son-in-law made an off hand comment when he a student a few years ago about going snowboarding at one game and I NEVER let him live that down. He is a great guy and I am very appreciative to have him in the family, but I still hold that over his head. )

They have had season tickets since the student tickets ran out and this year I joined them as well. I am not sure if they will continue this if they have children but we are right off the interstate on the way from the Triangle to Boone so there will be grandparents to help with childcare on game day.
