To the rest of my SC Mountaineer brethren and sisteren the ASU tags are now available at DMV. Probably about $70 but part goes to the school, I think.

Got my order in last week. The cost is only $20.00 every two years.

Did you get one of the 03-99 numbered plates through the Alumni office?

Didn't mean to post that twice. Didn't think the first post went through. No, I went through the dmv and got plate #101.

Has anyone been able to order online? I get through all the data entry and then to a dropdown menu of tag choices. Appalachian is not listed. I called Columbia and was told the form had to be mailed in as plates cannot be renewed online. That is obviously untrue. So did y'all mail in the forms or were you successfully able to do it online? Thanks for any input.

(Went to local dmv in Anderson. Was told they only stock plates for "larger" schools...like clemson. I said clemson is only about 6 percent larger. She chuckled)

I turned in the form at my local dmv and paid the fees. Tag arrived in the mail several days later.

Got my #18 and #54 last week.

8 months later I finally got mine. Low 200's. Must not be selling that well.

Originally had to wait almost 90 days for plates to expire. Then it slipped my mind.

in N C we get $15 per year per plate - money goes to Alumni Memorial Scholarship Fund. We have approximately 5500+ active in NC.

Looks better than the NC version IMO. Although neither can seem to get the block A right.
