The NO Bowl website says both bands will be performing at the bowl luncheon on Friday the 14th.

If I remember correctly the BOD made no road game trips in order to save up for the bowl game.

Money. Lack of leadership. Risk... I assume... There will always be another parade. At the time they were going to open it up to band alumni as well. But it's a lot of extra planning to be done by an interim director.

BOD loading up now. Just passed the 6 or 7 buses, lots of kids with bags and flashing lights on rivers street. Long ride for them, praying for safe travels.

That would be a fun trip though! A long trip but a fun one.

6 busses worth of our BOD arrived safely in NOLA about 10:40 PM last night.

You know what did not quietly remove the BOD from football game days ...the canned in music. I couldn’t resist!

If you guys find and like them on Facebook they have been doing live broadcasts from NOLA. It’s an expensive trip that I would ballpark is close to $200k for the band to travel for 3 days. The international parades are a hit or miss for me. The Spain trip my freshman year was $3,000. Needless to say I didn’t go. They are cool but expensive

Bowl game with fellow Apps>parades unless it’s Macy’s
