FTR, I don't have one bit of a problem using Google, it's simply that it shows zillions of advertising sites which makes using as it as a search engine virtually unusable . If I enter Appalachian State University football, it has the first 50 or more links to attempt to get me to purchase something from third party vendors unrelated .

Google is the site I go to so I don't get the ads. But it appears your mileage varies.

You likely have numerous malwares and or viruses affecting your Windows XP platform.

You likely have numerous malwares and or viruses affecting your Windows XP platform.

I don't know what Windows XP actually is nor what a platform is. My computer came with Windows 7 and had my computer guy install Windows 10 over it just last week. It all started when I first bought the computer with Windows 7. I have a great Malware program. The malware must be something that was linked with google when I purchased the computer (reconditioned or refurbished or something of that sort.)

I wouldn't know what MS-Dos is and it wouldn't help to define it for me. Computer verbiage is just too confusing for an old and old school brain such as mine. Thanks anyway.

So do I have a clear writing problem or do you have a clear reading problem or both? My first phrase implied I definitely do know how to use google, it's just that it is useless to me because it shows tens or hundreds of ads first before it gets to factual links.? Worthless to me. Now I've always been able to cut and past someone else's link easily. Anyone who can use a computer at all can do so easily. Pardon me for repeating my self at lest 3 times in this thread.

Have you ever noticed I explain things that some understand and agree with while others evidently skip those posters posts and show they haven't understood? Google is Google is Google... It's targeted based on your location and previous searches. If you have 50 unrelated links, you don't know how to use Google. As simple as that.

Back to the standard programming -- site seems to be running much smoother. Is it on a dedicated server for VPS now?

Oh, wrong, my App "friend" I totally expect sarcasm from those who constantly use it when they have their butts busted from others as well as by me in the same thread no less. If you expect me to back down simply because some cronies have to try to gang up on me just to be contrary and put me down constantly even though i would wager my loyalty to App is at least as great as their's..not monetarily but in conscience..

My computer guy knows one hell of hot lot more than all the posters on this board combined. He should, he has made a heck of a good living doing it.
