Q1: How long was the Sofield indoor facility used? When was it built?
Q2: Is it in the plans for other teams to use it? Probably for practice. But say, the soccer team has a game scheduled and we get a big snow storm - would the new facility be able to host that game?
Indoor facility. Sofield is down.

If my memory is correct, it was built around 2007-2008 (google earth confirms this). Almost 2 decades of use.Cro-Magnon App wrote: ↑Fri Sep 05, 2025 7:34 pmQ1: How long was the Sofield indoor facility used? When was it built?

As I understand it, there will be minimal seating in the facility, and it would not be suitable for attendance. But my info was/is from 2+ years ago, so things could have changed in that time. There were discussions about potentially using it for indoor track and field events, which would have increased costs significantly.

Baseball will most certainly use it. Especially during winter. This should help the baseball program more than anyone outside of football. Softball can use it too but not sure what their setup is now off 105.Cro-Magnon App wrote: ↑Fri Sep 05, 2025 7:34 pmQ1: How long was the Sofield indoor facility used? When was it built?

Nearly all other teams use Sofield for training.
