I believe the majority with be thrilled with the decision.

Based on what I am hearing I agree. Big for football and makes me optimistic about the rumors I have heard regarding our future in realignment. I actually think we are going to have at least 2 options and maybe 3 or 4. Just keeping fingers crossed that things keep falling into place. Now we just have to win on the football field. We really need a good performance in all facets against Boise State and Oregon State this year to start the year off right.

Can you expand on the realignment comment? What kind of options are you hearing about? Is this when the ACC explodes? or do our powers that be believe the split is coming and SEC/BIG are going to do their own thing? I would love to know what they think is the eventual outcome.

Chancellor and Dean searches are usually confidential, yeah.

One of the first things Norris should do is extend Chancellor Emeritus status to Peacock (posthumously) and Everts. That would go a long way to repair some of the hurt and division and re-start a broken tradition.

Chancellor Norris has done well is establishing a regular communication cadence with alums. My wife and I look forward to her emails providing information on current university initiatives, honors being received by alumni/staff, what’s going on around campus, etc. We welcome these updates and are very pleased to see her high level of engagement and tireless efforts to promote the university and the High Country!
