Red Bridges BBQ

Unread post by teaasu76 » Thu Oct 31, 2024 1:45 pm

As hotly contested as the mention of BBQ becomes on this board, I can't believe no one posted about the kitchen fire at Red Bridges in Shelby. Happened a week or so ago and initial statement said the fire was contained in the smoking (of the meat) area and there was limited damage to the main restaurant. Not sure how long the closure will be.

It has been a couple years since I have dined there and I need to get back down that way. Note to any newbies that might order their sweet tea, it is sweet. I recommend a mix of sweet and unsweetened. My preferred ratio is 50/50. Everything else they have served me has been to my liking.

Peddlin’ Pig at Tynecastle had a similar situation back in September: grease fire in the smoker.

Some clown posted on social media that they were closed indefinitely, but they reopened a couple of weeks later.

Everyone liked that.
