I just looked at the stats from Ark. St's 77-31 win over Texas State.
In addition to 487 yards of offense, the Red Wolves had 445 return yards.
After scoring 35 straight points to turn a 17-14 deficit into a 49-17 lead, Arkansas State finished their scoring with:
A 91-yard Fumble Return TD
A 93-yard Kickoff Return TD
An 87-yard Interception Return TD
and A 50-yard Interception Return TD

Looks like that game got away from T State. Also, we talk about a turn around. I’d say Butch Jones did a fantastic job this year taking the worst team in the league after the first two games and led them to a bowl.

Arkansas State scored 28 straight points without the offense taking the field. Wonder if that’s ever happened before?

That's a great question. Unfortunately with the Playoff Rankings, games like this get buried under the radar. Had this happened in the first 4 weeks of the season, it would have been covered.
Here's another crazy set of stats: Texas State ran 93 plays, had 32 first downs, and 539 yards of offense
and still lost by 48 points.
