ODU vs Coastal

ODU really taking it to Coastal. I know we need both teams to lose 1 outside of to us, but I’m enjoying this one.

This puts the championship game in our hands. If we win out we will be the East representative in the championship game. It is all up to us.

On the flip side ODU looked pretty damned good and can beat us like they beat Coastal today, and Coastal can sure beat us because they can pass, unless we've signed a few Ronnie Lotts this week, APP has a lot to prove on defense. Anyway, the door has been opened a little as for now we've picked up a game in the standings but have to follow through. Cautiously optimistic.

I believe ODU, Marshall and JMU are not eligible for the championship game because they are in their transition year.

It's a vastly improved Sunbelt as we all know. The only shot we had was to get some help. Hopefully we put it together next Wednesday then fine tune the next week before the big final 4. We have to fix the mental issues, tackle and hopefully get some healthy backs.

The whole transition thing makes no sense. JMU can't win the conference, can't go to a bowl, could go 12-0 and be top 15 ranked but losses to them count in the Belt.

Coastal can’t run the ball or stop the run. That sai, if you don’t get to McCall he’ll eat you up! ODU got to him, we better. On the other side ODU looked very good. Apparently they are improving as the year progresses.
