If what some have said is right, JMU has already turned down the SBC. If that's true, JMU is in trouble.

They will miss out this year by waiting on a call from the MAC or CUSA vs. pushing for the Belt.

What is CofC thinking, they thought they were joining a multiple bid bball league, not so sure now and they sacrificed baseball and travel budget.

Have been told Bobby C and John Kresse are not happy with the move.

I know Bobby C is not happy about it. He does a talk show on XM with Mark Packer and he said on the air that he thought CoC was making a dumb move.

If what I'm hearing is true UNCW is considering a move to the SoCon. IF they pull the trigger it will put the CAA in real danger and may force CofC to do a reversal.

its amazing how quickly the fortunes of a conference can change, just 2 or 3 years ago the CAA was a very strong conference, was a very strong BB conference sending 3 or 4 teams almost every year to the NCAA touniment, as we know, great football conference, strong academics, and alot of quality schools begging to join. Now, thru no fault of their own, is falling apart, and probably will have to give membership to schools, just a few years ago, which would have never gotten an invite.
