We are in need of someone to take over the maintenance of the MMB. Yosef has done it for a long time, and we are grateful for all he has done, but life happens and he no longer has the time to devote to its upkeep. I think Ark St. and Troy get the 1 and 2 seeds, and not sure we have the horses to compete for those seeds.

We need USA, JMU, and Marshall to lose some games to get to the 3-4 lines.

Seven conference games left, we'll need to go 5-2 with at least one win vs. Marshall to get the 4 seed.

I agree JT. I can't imagine these tournaments turn a profit. Limit the number of teams, set a schedule, and return the championship game to Sunday, much more fan friendly.

Fans are traveling in numbers if their team finished 10th anyway.
And rotate the locations between the West and East, places that are good for hosting events and are travel destinations. New Orleans for the West and Charleston for the East. Can make a vacation of it if your team craps the bed in the first round.
Savanah has a very nice new arena that would be a great spot.

I understand the Pensacola contract was extended through 2030 . I don’t believe other venues were considered. I could be wrong. If true that’s just slack. The arena is badly dated and located. There is good food and quality lodging on the island. Again though it just doesn’t draw flies.

My company always preaches to do what's right not what's easy. The SBC office should consider adopting the mantra.
