Troy looks horrible. Not good for the Sun Belt. They might get blown out by Duke’s JV squad

Gunner Watson looking awful in the first half against Duke.

Still lot of time left in both games but Belt Bowl Day off to another bad start.

Yeah he's thrown some really bad passes thus far. Troys defense doing it best to keep them in the game

And what’s with the chippiness from Troy? Another bad look on the Sun Belt.

I’d rather have 8 bowl eligible teams that go 5-3 than 12 and the results thus far. And not just the wins/loses but the quality of play on the field. This Troy team is flat.

Starting to look like App may be the only Sun Belt team to win their bowl.

If a middle ACC team can push around the SBChamp.... Not a good look of the Sunbelt. Those on the outside will see that FSU got denied a CFP spot because of weak ACC. Then the middle ACC team beats the Sunbelt champs. That doesn't bode well for the look of the Sunbelt. Yes teams are playing with depleted rosters but you still have to make a good showing. Perception is reality.

That'd be absolutely hilarious and embarrassing. But then I'm not a rah rah conference guy so I have no problem saying I hope the Falcons (Air Force family) beats JMU. As for the rest - if they win, cool, if not, doesn't bother me one bit.

Dook is a much better team than record. With losing their starting QB for several games, it hurt them in regular season. My prediction was that Dook would win with or without Leonard at QB.

Crown of helmet hit on defenseless WR, reviewed and not called targeting, roughing passer next play not called. Troy is flat but these refs are blind.

Maybe the Sun belt isn’t as great as we all told ourselves

I wouldn’t mind seeing someone other than Watson at quarterback. Clearly, he’s not at his best.

Maybe! What I have seen so far in the conference bowl games has not been good.. Doesn’t say much for APPS’ strength of schedule.

I've heard Troy had 25 players with a stomach bug or food poisoning. Watson was supposedly on IV's for two days. Anyone else hear this?

They made a big deal all game about Watson having flu-like symptoms. I didn't hear any mention of other players but I had split screen with NIU-Ark St.

“We lost because our players had good poisoning” is the “I have a girlfriend that lives in Niagara Falls” of football excuses.

Go win the game, it’s Duke for gods sake.
