Colorado State or Marshall. However Colorado State may be blocked out of their conference championship game due to their loss against Boise.BTK2000 wrote:With ECU now definitively out of the running (due to their loss tonight) for the single G5 slot who do you think will get it. I say its CO State.

The committee will have an opportunity to make a statement if SOS matters. If Marshall gets the spot than they obviously don't care about SOS.

I haven't looked up the details yet but doesn't "this team selected" have to have won their conference? and do they have to be ranked? ---Saint3333 wrote:The committee will have an opportunity to make a statement if SOS matters. If Marshall gets the spot than they obviously don't care about SOS.

Re: G5 bowl slot
I would expect it to be Marshall if they win out. Actually think they would have gotten the nod over a 2-loss ECU.
If neither Marshall nor CSU wins out, I fear there may be some outcry about the auto bid for G5. Not many good alternatives out there.
