What do a student at Western and a student at App have in common?
They both applied at App.

2005 WCU game, someone in front of us in the student section had a sign that said
Western...because some people can't get into Appalachian

True story: during 1973, freshman year I was going home for the first time that quarter (yes kiddies, ASU was on the quarter system at one time). Me, The Great Bolo, and his rooms Zero Overcash were on I-40 near Statesville and were near a car with a WCU window sticker. All we knew at the time was that ASU was better and despised WCU. Sooooo....guess who got the one-finger salute? Yep, 3 of 'em out the window as they went by and we got off the exit.
Of course those guys were probably convinced we were calling them #1.
They both applied at App.

Just glad they are gone forever from the schedule. Nothing to prove. 59-18-1 App. Nothing can change that. Go App!
