It seems some schools that shall go nameless, tend to play down on big games, and other schools, such as JMU, tend to play up.

Every week is differen is the real answer I guess.

JMU struggled their first couple of games. This UNC team is beyond terrible, their defense makes our defense look decent. UNC struggled for much of the game last week against NCCU. QB play is a joke. JMU may end up being really good, but pump the brakes a little.

Impossible for JMU to look this good.

They didn’t continue the JMU culture and went outside with a new coach hire. They have to contend with NIL and the transfer portal.

I was told these were insurmountable issues for G5 programs.

They didn’t have to deal with Covid.

JMU is doing what we couldn’t do to ETSU/GW or even South Alabama, to UNC.

They will be out for blood in Boone. And they might get it in more ways than one.

Facts are hard for some people.

Not really, JMU looks good today, UNC is terrible. Outside of a couple quarters of play, we have looked dreadful. Not sure what I missed?

JMU is no more unbeatable today than they were after their ugly win over Gardner Webb. Kudos to them for exploiting the pitiful UNC team. Yes, I'm surprised by the score and give them full credit.

Hopefully a lot of work will happen between now and then. Things can change quickly. Let's hope

They are beating the worse UNC team and a 3rd string QB since John Bunting days, calm down --

#TeamClark beat some ranked teams in his tenure.

Texas A&M was hot dog water. Clark is not a good HC. We couldn’t score 60 points on Lees Mcrae.

No you can't because they don't have a team...

I think my post was pretty calm, but I can see how saying “JMU looks good” and “JMU has to contend with NIL and the transfer portal” can be jarring for you to read.

Not to mention that they had all staff turnover at so many positions. You know how you hear some people say this or that can't be done? What they are saying is they are too inept to do it. They don't want to give up their power or their influence so they need people to think something that is not true.

I want to see how this season plays out and hope Shawn wins out but if we lose 3 more I will indeed be ready to look for a new coach.

It’s not just football. We can’t win in baseball either because we play in extreme altitude and unbreathabley thin air. The excuses here are insurmountable.
