I suppose when you only have four fans, it’s easy to notice when they roll out early.T-Dog wrote: ↑Sun Sep 15, 2024 4:40 pmAfter coming back to beat Gardner-Webb by one.
And they gave the AD that hired Biff four more years.

Re: Meanwhile in Charlotte…
It's not a good scenario. Biff was asked in the post game new conference what he thought of the home crowd. "Well, you probably should have got all of your money's worth by staying for the whole game. And, for those that weren't here that were saying whatever they were saying on Social Media, just grow up.....get out of your grandma's basement and grow up."
Not a great way to build that fan base....
Gardner Webb ran out of gas and Charlotte made a switch away from the true freshman to a veteran QB who led them back to victory. Even after they took the lead, GW scored a late TD, but elected to try a two point conversion to take the lead and failed.
Biff is still committed to the freshman as the starter next game, despite the fact that he was rattled by an FCS defense.
My only fear is that Wilkes takes over the program. He can coach and has connections in Charlotte. Hopefully, he is just there for a year and gets a high paying Coordinator job somewhere next year.
