what are the academic standards at App to remain eligible to play sports? A certain GPA level, etc?

Wouldn't these be the same as any other NCAA school?
I think it was 2.0 GPA when we played 10-15 years ago. Could be different now. You get plenty of help to not fail and are allowed to drop classes late if you are failing. (know from experience haha!) If you go to class, it's quite impossible to fail.
thanks...I was not a D1 athlete, but I wouldn't think 2.0 is a hard GPA to maintain.

Yeah, a 2.0 is roughly equivalent to a 74-76 average among all classes. That's really not that hard to maintain. And this is coming from someone who had a 1.6 GPA after his first semester. I mean, I did literally NOTHING for a whole semester and I still pulled a 1.6.

Academic Advisors are the true champions in the NCAA haha! They saved a few teammates from being ineligible. Talk about "truly giving your all". Met with 35 of us every week, handled schedules, scheduled tutors, even some helped tutor if you need it. I recall eating a few lunches in Mrs. Jean's office just because she was someone to talk to and there for us. Her door was literally always open for any type of problem we had, classroom, relationships, playing time...etc: It was all safe with her.

App truly has some of the best Academic Advisors and admin in the business! Couldn't thank them enough, tip of them cap.

Like knowing that athletes at App aren't just given passing grades for doing literally nothing.
Good they have help earning their grades if they need it.
