I don't see Gardner Webb, haha. Okay I'm done that was the last one.

It would be fun to see Western or Furman make the trip to Boone soon as our FCS game.

Wow, Western is ranked.
Our Major's son is on the Western team this year so I've been keeping up with them. They hung 77 on Charleston Southern and seem to be a vastly improved team this year. Their only loss is to Arkansas at this point. We shall see how they hold up.

WCU is running up and down the field , keeping an eye on them for potential transfers....

How is that one Wide Receiver we wanted doing? Raphael Williams at SDSU.

Don't see him listed with any stats on ESPN. He injured or redshirt this year?

I don't recall FCS thread while we were whipping FBS butts. Are we poking fun while we're an average SBC team?

Good luck to the FCS programs, fond memories.

Apparently they have a good RB. From Miami area just like Noel. Wonder if they played against each other. Crazy that if you succeed at FCS level you get articles written about you 5 games into the season about the portal.

WCU’s roster is currently full of players from the Miami area, primarily at skill positions. Not that Boone is a major metropolis, but Miami to cullowhee would be quite the culture shock.

WCU having a good season is good for the WNC region, especially Waynesville and west. We know what the economic impact is of having fans in the stands, patronizing hotels and restaurants. Spending money in local communities. They are FCS I wish them good luck. that’s still a little hard to say lol, but I do. But Furman…………..

This isn't surprising considering their coach is a very well known player/coach in Florida. I thought he would have success there.
