He said jump in the portal because the more that do the more room he has. Some positions already taken because he is bringing him with him.ah59396 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 05, 2022 1:14 pmWell they just went 1-11 and have the second worst winning percentage among power 5 programs since 2006. That place needs a scorched earth reset.goapps93 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 05, 2022 1:10 pmWith this apparent "bad blood," the question is will Scott take any players with him. And talk about a fiasco, y'all been following Coach Prime's transition to Colorado? "Yeah, the quarterback is coming, and 10-11 others, and they dawgs." I can't even imagine how I would feel about him coming in to be my coach if I was a player.

Re: SATTERFIELD TO CINCY
I watched Deion's intro speech. I didn't get fiasco out of it though. I thought he was honest with them, told them what he was going to expect from them, and told them the portal is open for anyone who doesn't want to be there. I liked it, a lot.goapps93 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 05, 2022 1:10 pmWith this apparent "bad blood," the question is will Scott take any players with him. That about sums it up for me.Yosefus wrote: ↑Mon Dec 05, 2022 11:08 amGlad he got out before he was let go. He didn't set the world on fire in Louisville but don't forget what a dumpster fire he walked into. He lost the fan base when he went after SC but I don't blame him for that. Cincinnati should be a good fit for him. Good luck to him.

Re: SATTERFIELD TO CINCY
I liked how he said he would make players accountable and respectful. Of course he's going to talk about turning the program around and winning but if he keeps the important stuff in order that will be huge. Graduate players and help them to be responsible men. You would think even Colorado could go 7-5 most years.bcoach wrote: ↑Mon Dec 05, 2022 1:37 pmLoved the two decades commentappst89 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 05, 2022 1:29 pmI watched Deion's intro speech. What does this do to our chance of getting Gaspo, if that was who they wanted for DC? Can't be good.

Apparently it's the most amount of money Cincy has offered for the "Pool of assistants". That CFP appearance made them some coin.BallantyneApp wrote: ↑Mon Dec 05, 2022 1:59 pmmaybe, maybe not. Not speaking with the Team is poor taste but there seems to be a coaching history of this type of behavior at Louisville… John L Smith told his Louisville team he was leaving for MSU at halftime, Petrino had one foot out the door in what seemed to be every year… Satt flirting with USC and now this. Louisville just needs to accept they are a stepping stone

Re: SATTERFIELD TO CINCY
I suppose it depends on their goals. What's more important, making more money as a position coach or taking a little less to be a DC better? Neither answer is wrong, just depends on what you want.ASUFan4863 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 05, 2022 2:12 pmThis has to hurt us in luring Ivey, Gasp, or any other UofL coaches right?

Big difference between JState and Colorado. We will see how it works out. I'm a Prime fan as far as a "Good Time" player personality, but I'm not optimistic that things will work out positively.goapps93 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 05, 2022 1:10 pmWith this apparent "bad blood," the question is will Scott take any players with him. Right. App offers a different path than what Cinci offers. It just depends on career goals.MrCraig wrote: ↑Mon Dec 05, 2022 3:05 pmI suppose it depends on their goals. Re: SATTERFIELD TO CINCY
I was rooting for Coach Prime at Jackson State, I'm rooting against him a Colorado. He talked all this talk about building up HBCUs and making Jackson State into a powerhouse and "doing it for the culture," then left for literally the first P5 job that was offered.appstatealum wrote: ↑Mon Dec 05, 2022 3:09 pmBig difference between JState and Colorado. I think at Colorado we will get to see how much Sanders can actually COACH.

Will anyone remember a year from now whether he told them or not? NOPE!PhillyApp1 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 05, 2022 2:58 pmPJ42 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 05, 2022 2:23 pmNot speaking with the Team is poor taste but there seems to be a coaching history of this type of behavior at Louisville… John L Smith told his Louisville team he was leaving for MSU at halftime, Petrino had one foot out the door in what seemed to be every year… Satt flirting with USC and now this. Re: SATTERFIELD TO CINCY
Players will remember. Us as fans won't care. 10 years later and I bet everyone on our 2012 baseball team that had to play for Billy Jones remembers how bad he handled situations. We're still seeing the ill effects of that hire. But with Satterfield, that's Louisville's problem! Not ours.AtlAppMan wrote: ↑Mon Dec 05, 2022 3:18 pmWill anyone remember a year from now whether he told them or not?
