NC A&T receives $500,000 grant from National Park Service to help restore Memorial Stadium (baseball) and Vanstory Hall

I actually coached in Memorial Stadium several times 100 years ago - hell, 78 was probably in the Press Box

Great news. Distinctive old building with character. I attended a few Greensboro Hornets minor league baseball games there in the 1980s. It's a wonder it wasn't sold to a developer and bulldozed.

It may be in a bit of a floodplain for development. I am glad it is being utilized and it does need some work.
