Furman is really sucking right now....
But would trade it for App to have one their first game in the tournament and playing right now.

I was at one of the watch parties in Greenville. It was absolutely slammed. Covering this team this year - having Bothwell and Richey on our show every week - has been a lot of fun and even though Furman sucks it was easy to root for them. Furman has a chance to become an elite mid major if they can hang on to Bob Richey. I’m jealous of what they’ve accomplished with a limited budget and two major conference teams in the state.

Although great story for them, big difference in P5 competition. Neither the 'Cocks or Tigers are good basketball programs. Clemson had an out of character year by being good. I like their coach as he was the coach of U-Dub back in the day..
In NC, there are 4 P5 teams with UNC and Dook having a great history and Wake/State having their moments from time to time
Great season for Furman...hope it doesn't happen again for another 40 years.
