I really expect all these games to go scratch. Maybe ULM surprises Vegas and beats stAte.

Wow lol. South Alabama is talented and capable of beating anyone in the league but their inconsistency is why I didn’t think they’d be a threat to take it down. That said absolutely didn’t anticipate ualr doing it. Not sure it’ll change who comes out of that side of the bracket but fingers crossed for a ualr & ull semifinal.

I think it helps Troy which hurts Texas State in the semis. Potential for huge impact!

Remember Julius Hodge and Capel doing sideline reporting for an NC State UNC game a while back when both were ranked. Every time Capel would talk, Hodge would start rolling his eyes.

I was hoping Georgia Southern would win in double overtime.

Re: SB tournament general thread
No excuses, but USA didn’t have their lead guard, Jay Jay Chandler, the Texas A&M transfer. They had lots of talented players, but he was most definitely the most aggressive and the motor that drove that team, and averaged 15-16 points per game.agentpaul001 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 03, 2022 5:56 pmWow lol. Re: SB tournament general thread
Frankly, I thought regardless of who we drew, it wasn't a good one. I don't have a good feeling about this game.

Re: SB tournament general thread
Given the format, the bye is not as big an advantage as in the past.

Re: SB tournament general thread
Hard to beat a team 3 times in a season I suppose, but we made it work against Ga State last year. Kerns has owned southern since he’s been in town, hopefully they tradition continues.
