I know its a longer trip for both but looks like attendance is sparse in Atlanta. You'd think SEC/ACC would bring it better than A Belt/AAC game in Charlotte. Proud of App attendance last week!

Anyone else feel like a bad season could put ol Scotty on the hot seat? Fans already don’t like him because he flirted with South Carolina. Add an atrocious 2020*. If the 2021 Cardinals finish below .500 will the school look elsewhere?

If he doesn't win 5 games I suspect that he will be fired. 6 or more probably gets him a 4th season to hit 7 wins.

I don't think I see 5 wins with that schedule. Hopefully he can get things on track.

He prob should sell that $1.6mm house before the market turns.

If he’s fired, he lands on his feet somewhere else with his pocket full of gold. They all usually do, unless they find a burner phone. What did he leave APP for, $4 million a year.

Watching this game and Louisville looks bad. No idea what their schedule is but 4-8 appears to be a possibility. He won’t survive that but I’d take the buyout.

The Louisville boards are already starting to light up tonight with "Fire Satterfield" and "This isn't App State, fire Satterfield" comments.

Louisville's OL looks terrible. Gotta believe they're missing Ledford.

They didn't look good last year and no improvement starting out here tonight. Satt and UL going to have a long season. They look undersized and way slower than Ole Miss. I hate Ole Miss not for football but some alumni I know. Make me hate this even more.

Satt is in trouble. He did a good job in his first season changing their culture but hasn’t followed it up with good wins. I have to think that’s maybe why a couple of coaches have left recently-for better job security.

I'm not so sure Satt is going to have a long season.....

Scott is probably on a short leash at this point. This team looks really bad

I assume $16M was worth it. Very premature in many regards, but If Pounce has a great season and gets hired away would either party consider him for OC?

Not based on what I’m seeing currently. I know I’m being harsh but this offense is terrible so far

Nope, he had to go. Can’t turn down that money and I’ll never blame him for it.

I think he means worth it to satt to get canned.

It was undoubtedly worth it. He made in 3 years what it would have taken him 16 in Boone. Just a different level of money.

Satt may very well be in the hot seat but some of the comments here for a fellow Mountaineer are lame as hell.
