Every year there is a pre season top 10 team that ends up finishing the year completely out of the top 25, UNC is my pick for that team this year. They lost a ton this past season and I don't think they have enough left for a good season. Their only saving grace is the ACC isn't that tough so they may be able to keep in the rankings. Either way, totally overrated.

I listened to much of the game on the radio while driving around this evening. From the sound of it, the Pokies should have beaten the Holes by three touchdowns. VT shot themselves in the foot in the red zone multiple times (IIRC, they came away scoreless after 1st and goal twice). It wasn't as close as the 17-10 score would indicate. Except for two drives, UNCCH couldn't move the ball at all, and Howell was sacked 6 times I believe.

VPI dominated that game. I loved seeing it.

Hope App plays a game in Blacksburg sometime. I’d like to experience that entry.

The energy in the stands at Blacksburg is what I expect Kidd Brewer to be like for our home opener with Elon. Can’t wait.
