Ex Leprechaun QB Wimbush to UCF
Thought that is interesting since UCF will be our competition for a possible NY-6 Bowl should we get that far.

Interesting. So the guy that finished the season is getting screwed. Winbush starts next year and Milton in 2020? The kid that came in for Milton earned the job.

Milton had a nasty injury and will miss '19 probably, however the QB Mack that came in looked pretty good to me. Hopefully we can get one of our backups to step up big time. Quality depth is important.

Clearly he didn't earn the job if UCF coaches were actively recruiting Wimbush for transfer. Nothing in life is handed to you. If the kid behind Milton wants to start, he should have to earn it each and every year, no matter who is behind him.
App should take the same approach. While there is something to be said for continuity, you have to drive competition for each position group to bring out the best in guys.

Clearly? Really, I don't think that UCF went after Wimbush because the kid wasn't good. Wimbush was replaced by a Freshmen. He won two of 3 games. He played well. But now he might have to be a backup to Wimbush and then a backup to Milton in 2020 assuming he is able to come back and all indication is that he will.
