Ted Roof's 120th ranked pass defense (out of 130 teams) attempts to stop Jimbo Fisher's Aggies tonight in Jacksonville. Last time out, State put up 58 points at home versus ECU. A&M outscored #8 LSU 74-72 after 7 overtimes in College Station. Ryan Finley, the State QB mentored by new App HC Eli Drinkwitz, will look to enhance his NFL draft potential with a big passing efficiency effort. This shapes up to be a shootout.

App fans may be able to look into the future to some degree in this one.

Their pass D sucks, but their run D is 13th nationally. Jimbo runs a pretty balanced offense, but they do have a great RB in Trayveon Williams. Should be a fun game to watch.

Pretty evenly matched game so far. A and M is about a 7 point favorite. NCSU giving them all they want.

Not sure how much difference it would have made but remember that NC State was playing without one of it's best receivers and its leading tackler who both declined to play in the game.

I can give the offense a pass, especially with the numbers they put up the rest of the season.
The defense though, is another story

I said almost the exact same thing in another thread. I was told, Roof helped game plan etc....

At this point, it's water under the bridge. over the roof, whatever.....

When the announcement comes, let's all support the coaches and team. I'm sure most if not all of us will.
