Boise St was behind 7-0. Was hoping they would get stomped to open up a spot in rankings. Oh Well....
This has to be a first having bowl game canceled.
Imagine how pissed the fans that spent their holiday money to go see that game.
Bet they would rather have a jelly of the month club instead.

It was delayed because of lightning. I assume it was cancelled for the same reason.

Weather screws us yet again this year

I don’t believe I’ve ever heard of a bowl being canceled. I’d bet that MTSU was wishing theirs had been canceled!

All I can say is many of today's bloated schedule of bowl games have ridiculous names. Even the big bowls get stupid names that nobody is going to remember. I know it is all about the money and the sponsor, but come on man. Give them a name that is consistent from year to year.

So does this help an 11-2 App State team maybe get back into the top 25 if a #25 10-3 Boise State team doesn't get to play a 14th game? (I know there's Utah State, Stanford, Cincy and NC State still in the mix outside the top 25 as well, but with 5 of the bottom 26 in the rankings still needing to play their bowl game this year (all against higher ranked opponents) does this help us or will the final rankings give the Broncos a reprieve when it comes to end of the year rankings?
